The FORTH Hotel is a 19-story hotel on the Atlanta Beltline in Atlanta, GA, USA, boasting a members-only social club, 196 rooms, luxury lounges, a spa, four restaurants and bars, an elevated outdoor pool deck, and a three-story subterranean parking deck. The project includes slag cement in several mixtures, including the high-strength concrete for the cast-in-place columns and shear walls. This building has an eye-catching diagrid construction created from cast-in-place columns constructed using V-shaped metal forms that were inverted as needed to create the unique shape in the diagrid pattern.
