This Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) project was constructed on State Route 29 (SR 29) at Interstate 70 (I-70) in Jefferson Township and the Village of West Jefferson in Madison County, OH, USA. The project included a new SR 29 bridge over I-70, a second roundabout at the SR 29 intersection at the I-70 eastbound exit/entrance ramps, pavement widening, drainage improvements, and the addition of a second lane to the existing roundabout at SR 29 and I-70. Slag cement was used in the concrete mixtures to achieve low permeability and high albedo.
